- Hi my name is Koa! Let me tell you how I got my name. It comes from the Hawaiian name KeKoa which means BRAVE! After spending months on the streets and a couple weeks in the slammer I was saved by Legacy Boxer Rescue. A nice lady by the name of Sally nursed me through my kennel cough & mange. Sally then told me I could find my FOREVER home. Even though I was a little skinny and stinky from my mange Mom fell in lub with me! I now have 2 soft beds, TONS of toys, a big backyard & a big belly full of kibbles!
